Today I bought sunflower seeds. I decided they’d help me pass the doldrums after lunch. I think they help me think. My mouth moves a lot. There is always something in my mouth. I get to pause what I’m doing (work, work) to spit out the seeds. I am occupied.
I should be occupied at work. . .and to an extent I am; however, why should I bust my ass, get everything done, then have Mrs. Boss-Lady pile on more?
Not worth it, I say.
I enjoy working. I enjoy working hard. I take pride in accomplishing a task. This is why I enjoy sunflower seeds. Mouth full – mouth empty – full cup – satisfied worker!
